Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Wins Two Technology Awards

Indianapolis, IN - Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance won two prestigious technology awards from Computer Sciences Corporation at the 2006 CSC convention in Atlanta.

CSC, a global information technology services company that administers to many different industries, honored Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance with the CSC Well Connected Award. This award singles out a category winner for leadership through innovation. Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance won this "best of show" award honor for its contributions to the development and testing of the Exceed, POINT IN and Colossus products.

"We have been working with CSC to develop a tool that provides our agents with a simplified means of quoting farm policies as part of the Farm Improvement Program," said Mutual Systems Manager Rhonda Mattick. "This tool has far reaching applications to the development of multi-line polices."

The development of this tool earned Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance the CSC Industry Leadership Award for demonstrating a high degree of innovation and cooperation with fellow CSC members.

"We have been working to make software better for the insurance industry," said Jim Putka, Director of P&C Operations. "Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance's commitment to working with CSC has enacted changes to software that is used by the entire community."

The award winners were voted on by nearly 1,000 attendees from more than 300 organizations at the CSC Connect 2006 convention.
